Hector and his family joined Casas in the 1980’s. His first area of service was as a Sunday school teacher. He was employed as a comptroller, but it soon became apparent that he would be much happier working for the Lord. He joined the staff of Casas in 1987 as the Finance Minister. Soon his time at Casas led to several other areas, such as the Prison Ministry Chaplain and helping ministries in Mexico plant churches.
His time at Casas has been the richest in his life. He has had the opportunity to learn from great teachers and infuse the surrounding community and different countries with the love Casas has for people. Currently, he continues to be involved with Casas ministry as the Pastor of Pastoral Care and Benevolence. He serves as part of the Casas Prayer Ministry and Casas Chaplains visitation ministries. Within the benevolence ministry, he assists families walking through the loss of a loved one by facilitating a celebration of life service.
As the years pass, Hector is excited to see what God has in store for our church and the church at large. Our ability to be involved in the work of Christ around the world is the greatest gift.
