Our Purpose

At Casas Church, we want our students to know they are part of our entire church community and that we are for them. We believe God loves each of us and has made each student with purpose.

When a student attends a service or event, they will encounter a fun, welcoming environment where they can experience being accepted for who they are regardless of their background, beliefs, or questions. You are accepted, and we want you to experience that Christ’s acceptance is trustworthy.

Our Weekly Gatherings

Our high school ministry meets every Wednesday night, during the school year,  from 7:00 pm – 8:45 pm.  When students arrive, they can expect to meet a welcoming group of other students their age and excellent volunteer leaders who can’t wait to hang out with them. These nights are full of fun experiences, teaching, and impactful conversations with their small group. These groups allow our students to grow deeper in their relationship with one another and God as we journey through life together.

At HSM Sunday mornings, high school students can expect a fun church service, an opportunity to hang out with their friends or meet someone new, and a message that is all about how their faith in God matters right now at their unique stage of life. We meet every Sunday morning from 11 am – 12:15 pm in the Cholla building.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

All around us, there are people who are different from us, maybe even weird or possibly… people we don’t like or would even consider our enemies because they’ve bullied us or hurt our people in some way. We don’t usually mind asking how Jesus can help us love The Good – our friends or those who look like us, act like us and think like us. But What if Jesus also showed us how to love everyone else – The Bad and The Ugly? Join us Wednesdays and Sundays in October as we talk about The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.

Meet Stacie Bartels!

Stacie has been a member of Casas Church her whole life and interned for several years before joining the staff in 2019. Before ministry, she was in nursing school and worked at a local hospital. Eventually, however, she pursued full-time ministry and went to Fuller Seminary for her Masters in Divinity. Stacie married a handsome soldier, and they were stationed in Germany for several years before moving back to Tucson. As Student Ministry Pastor, she gets to spend her time ministering to our middle school and high school students and volunteers, which she loves! Stacie values and appreciates the students’ honesty and energy and she believes that lives can be changed through time spent in small groups. She loves working at a church that gets to remind every child that God loves them exactly as they are and they never have to earn his acceptance.
