Groups at Casas creates spaces for people to form and cultivate relationships where they can belong, share, be known, and experience the love and acceptance of Jesus Christ. Throughout our various groups and class environments, we explore the larger story of God’s love for us and how we can partner with Jesus Christ to live in His acceptance and freedom.
Between busy schedules and unique interests, you want a group that fits you. Choose from several filtering options, from the day of the week to the type of group. If you are still looking for one that fits, reach out, and we can assist in your search.

After coordinating with your facilitator, you’ll meet your group. We always love to hear about your group experience, so reach out with any questions, thoughts, or stories.
Travis has been part of the Casas family since 1988. He became an Elder in 2006 and now serves as the Adult Communities Director, where he helps people take their next step into community through Sunday morning groups, small groups, and connection events. For Travis, Casas isn’t just where he goes to church – it’s home. It’s where people can ask real questions, grow in their faith, and walk through life together.
Outside of ministry, Travis is a former scuba instructor (yes, he’s even dived with sharks) and currently the home-game basketball announcer for the Pima Community College Men’s and Women’s teams. He’s also likely to be found on a mountain bike trail or a pickleball court.
Travis and his wife, Heidi, have been married for over 28 years and are proud parents of two young adult kids. Around Casas, he’s long been known as “Captain Enthusiasm,” a nickname earned through years of helping people feel known, welcomed, and connected. Each week, you’ll find him at Next Steps after every service, ready for a conversation and to help you find your place at Casas.
Seth grew up in Tucson and has attended Casas since middle school. He joined the staff in 2002 and worked as the middle school youth pastor for 14 years. His current position is Connection and Discipleship Pastor, which consists of helping to lead and empower the various adult groups at Casas. Seth loves Casas because it provides such a different church experience for people. He also loves helping people discover who they are in Christ. Seth also enjoys interacting with all the people that come to Casas. Outside of work, Seth enjoys spending time with his family, dogs, and coaching CrossFit.
Savannah grew up in Arizona and fell in love with Tucson after she moved here to complete her degree in early childhood education at the U of A. As a former teacher, Savannah is passionate about supporting families in the community with one another at Casas. She is our Groups Director because of this passion and loves connecting with people. She enjoys hiking, biking, and adventuring in her free time with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
