For too long, churches have pressured people to give out of guilt or obligation. At Casas, we believe you’re already loved – nothing to prove and nothing to earn. That’s why we approach giving as an expression of freedom and purpose, not a requirement. We call this missional giving: generosity that flows from gratitude and helps others experience the same acceptance, love, and freedom of Jesus that’s changed our own lives.

Rick has been a part of our Casas community for a couple of years now, but his journey back to church wasn’t simple. After years in ministry, he grew tired of the lines that divided people — over politics, theology, and who was welcome. He walked away from religion, unsure if he’d ever find a church that truly reflected the Jesus he believed in. When he walked into Casas, he was skeptical and guarded, but something felt different.
A hundred little moments at Casas rebuilt his trust and his belief that there was a church he could belong to – a community of people sincerely and practically loving others into the acceptance and freedom of Jesus Christ. His story is a reminder of why Casas exists: to be a different kind of church where people experience the freedom and love of Jesus.
