About this Group

Genuine is a multi-generational women's group. In addition to being of various ages, we have a variety of backgrounds and wide range of Bible knowledge, some of us are new Christians and some of us have been Christians for many years. This diversity makes for great discussions and learning times together. We typically study a book of the Bible. Our objective is not to get smarter about the Bible but to be transformed through scripture, study, and prayer to become more like Jesus and so reflect Him in our lives. Our 5-member teaching team takes turns preparing and leading our lessons. We believe in the importance and the power of prayer and lift one another and our specific needs and joys up to the Lord regularly.
