In a world where it is scientifically proven we lie to one another daily, it is no wonder many of us struggle to trust others. We can become hung-up on this issue and it can become easy to shut down and close ourselves off from others. In the story of Joseph, we see him struggle with this same issue. Just like Joseph, we get to choose if we will become an untrusting person or with courage and honesty - knowing God is with us - can we instead choose the story we want to tell?

There are three things that can help turn habits around: awareness of the habit, a fuller vision of what we do want if that habit wasn’t in the way, and relationships with others that pull us forward to life beyond that habit we’ve created.
