Our high school ministry has an amazing and one-time opportunity for our HSM Serve Trip 2025. Over MLK weekend, January 17th – 20th, 2025, we are partnering with an organization called Hope Rising Arizona (formerly Beauty from Ashes) to complete important work projects on their new ranch in Arizona. This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing long term sanctuary, hope and healing for women, ages 18-24, devastated by the profound trauma associated with sexual trafficking and exploitation. Survivors will live at the ranch long-term to heal, develop skills, and connect with staff and other survivors.

The ranch is about an hour southeast of Tucson. Our students will camp nearby and spend the weekend completing a Meditative Garden as well as several other projects to ensure the ranch is ready to open in March.

The cost of this trip is $400 with the first payment of $100 is due by December 17, 2024. This will cover all project costs, transportation, food and tools and other projects. Trip participants are required to attend training on Sunday, January 12, 2025 from 12:30 – 3:30pm in Cholla.

This trip is an incredible opportunity for your student to live out God’s love for them and others while learning new skills and making great friends. We hope your student will be joining us!
